White PVC Pipe Insulation Jacket is 20 mil PVC sheet heat curled to fit perfectly around insulated pipes. This plastic pipe wrap material is commonly used in food processing facilities and mechanical rooms to create a clean look (USDA/FDA Approved).
Each piece of jacketing material is 36" long and has SSL tape (Self Sealing Lap) down the inside of the lap to provide easy installation. The use of serrated tacks is allowed on hot systems (not cold/chilled). For Cold/Chilled piping systems seal laps and joints with PVC tape. For exterior applications or USDA food processing applications, please seal all laps and joints with PermaWeld PVC Liquid Adhesive for a water tight bond. Use of our Bungee Cords will help in the installation with use of the PermaWeld adhesive.

What I needed to prevent weed trimmer damange

Quality PVC
Jacketing is perfect size and good quality. Only suggestion is you definitely need tacks/glue to seal it. The adhesive alone is not enough.

Cut and Curl
Great product easy to install if the surface to be covered is even and consistent. Use lots of all sizes. Would like to see it delivered tighter in roll as the sloppy fit is harder to get applied.

PVC cut and curl jacketing
I used this jacketing to cover several sections of split-sleeve fiberglass insulation for 6 inch pipe. It was used to insulate 6 inch heating-cooling ductwork on the ceiling of an un-heated tuck-under garage. It enclosed the insulation nicely, providing a thicker, stronger covering over the paper-like cover already on the insulation. It was nicely compatible with the 45 degree and 90 degree joint covers which I used on the bends. The covers include peel-and-stick adhesive along each length. I used the 2 inch wide white PVC tape to secure the joints between each length and to secure and fit the bend covers.

Curling jackets
This is exactly what I was looking for. I covered some pvc piping for my furnace that ran through the garage. These made them look like brand new pvc.

36 INCHES IS PRETTY SHORT AND FORCES US TO USE MORE OTHER THAN THAT PRODUCT IS A GOOD COLOR AND HOLDS UP WELL OVERTIME. STURDY AND DEPENDABLE. -

Need this to cover steam pipes
My local plumbing supple store was $16 or each 4 feet piece. Thank god i found this site. These are the PVC jackets you need in order to cover the fiberglass insulation of steam main pipes to give it a clean and professional look on top of sealing in the fiberglass insulation. If you have steam heating, your mains in the basement should be covered with fiberglass pipe insulation then these PVC jackets. Don't forget the elbows and unions and PVC tape. Its all here.
