SPECIAL PRICE: $395/Pail Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound is a viscoelastic damping compound that is applied between two layers of drywall in walls, ceilings, and floors to drastically dampen vibrations.  By damping these vibrations, Green Glue is able to reduce the amount of vibrational sound transferring from one side of the structure to the other.  Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound works so well due to the fact that it always remains in a tacky state. This green joint compound will never dry out and become rigid like conventional adhesives.

I offer green glue and 5/8" drywall layers as an add on to my regular drywall rates. I have been getting a lot of clients asking for it lately. Lowest pricing is at Buy Insualtion Products and I get my buckets in 2 days. No job delays, great service. Guns are good qualtiy and can be reused job to job.

    Suprisingly good results

Posted by Samar K. on 15th Nov 2017

Used 3 Green Glue pails for my movie-room in my recently finished basement. The walls/ceiling were already installed but we could hear the sound easily in the kitchen above. I read online about Green glue and decided to give it a shot. The rep I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and instructed me on how to do the install and treat all of my in-ceiling speakers. He explained that these speakers were the main culprit for the sound leaks. I cut open the drywall around the speakers and installed drywall and green glue on the above subfloor and boxed them in.

I found the dispenser gun takes a bit to get used to and drips a little but after a few sheets we had mastered using it. We noticed a big difference immediately and after about a month (waiting period) the results were even better. I can raise the volume within reason and not disturb the upstairs. Very happy with Green glue and the advice I received on the phone.

*Samar, we are happy to hear that the Green Glue worked out well for your project. Ceiling speakers need to be treated to avoid disturbing the floor above! ~ BIP

    Great product, great prices

Posted by Zach T. on 24th Jul 2017

I've used the Greenglue tubes from Buy Insulation Products on a few projects, but this newest one was going to be over 8 boxes. I called for advice and the man (dont remember his name) convinced me to buy 4 buckets and a gun instead. He said it would save me money and would be easier but I was nervous about using buckets since we had never used them, but I am so happy I did. The gun takes some getting used to but it sucked up the greenglue nicely and was quicker to apply. I wanted to just thank you for recommending the buckets. For anyone out there these guys have the best products and best prices. ZT

*Zack, I am glad that your soundproofing project worked out well. ~ BIP
