The Sure Shot II Capacitor Discharge Stud Welder is a CD Pin Welder for Cupheads, Mini-Cups, Weld Pins and Weld Studs. Insulators use the Sure Shot II CD Capacitor Discharge Stud Welder System to fasten insulation boards onto HVAC ductwork by welding mini-cup head pins or weld pins to the duct holding the insulation in place. Part of the Ultra-Portable series by MIDWEST, this system features weld power up to a 5/16” (M8) weld base and operates on 110VAC -OR- 220VAC. Weighing only 18 pounds, the Hybrid Transformer/MicroProcessor Unit works in all conditions on all popular Insulation applications and more.
