The PS965 rockwool insulation for pipes is coated with CR-Tech, a patented Corrosion Resistant Technology. The CR-Tech coating helps resist corrosion on the outside of metal pipes if the insulation system is penetrated by water. When introduced to water or moisture, the CR-Tech coating will release a gel-like barrier. This coating resists the dreaded CUI - Corrosion Under Insulation.
