Green Glue Joist Tape Rollers for Rent

Green Glue Joist Tape is a noiseproofing product that helps eliminate the squeaks and creaks that originate from the subfloor rubbing directly on the floor joists.  Green Glue Joist Tape is commonly applied in new construction high end housing and luxury apartments/condominiums.  In order to apply Joist Tape, the tops of the floor joists must be exposed (new construction, or removal of old subfloor).  Green Glue Joist Tape is available in three widths to fit nominal 2 x lumber (1-7/16"), true dimension lumber (2-1/4"), composite joists, and steel beams (3").

Green Glue Joist Tape is applied directly to the top of the floor joist adhesive side down.  The application of the tape can be done by hand on smaller projects however for projects requiring 1,000+ linear feet (10 rolls), the use of a Joist Tape Roller is highly recommended.  The Green Glue Joist Tape Roller is an easy to use applicator  that makes to install of joist tape safer and much less labor intensive.  The Joist Tape Roller has an adjustable guide that allows the roller to straddle the edges of the joist making the tape apply completely straight.  The roller pulls tape and applies pressure to the tape being adhered to the top of the joist at the same time.  A 4ft long handle helps ease any strain on the installers back.

The downside of the Green Glue Joist Tape Roller is the price. Because this tape roller is a niche tool which is produced in small batches, the pricing can be higher than many contractors want to spend. This is especially true if the project is a one off application and the tape roller will not be used again.

Because of the high price and the possible one time use by a contractor, Buy Insulation Products has taken Joist Tape Rollers and created the first rental tool program.  The Rental program will allow a customer access to a used Green Glue Joist Tape Roller for a limited window of time to apply Green Glue Joist Tape.  Once the project is completed, the customer can return the tool and receive a percentage of their deposit back.

Customer has up to 30 Days from date of shipment to use the tool (usually only a few days to a week are needed).

As long as this floor joist adhesive tape roller is returned in similar shape with Free return label the customer will receive a $300 deposit refund!

Return Label must be picked up/scanned by carrier before the 30 day window expires or the rental converts to a tool purchase.
