BirdAway Solar Panel Deterrent Clips with Washers

BirdAway Solar Panel Bird Deterrent Clips are used as the fastening system for wire-mesh barrier pest deterrent systems between solar panels and roofing.  BirdAway Solar Panel Deterrent Clips are 6-1/2" long and have a shepherd's j-hook on one end which grasps the bracketing of the solar panel.   A self-locking speed washer is then used to secure the wire mesh in place.  Both the clips and washers are made of 10 gauge high-grade stainless-steel which provides maximum endurance to outdoor elements.

Estimating the Number of Deterrent Clips for your Solar Panel System:

The number of solar panel bird clips needed will depend on the solar panel system. A standard 3kW system (2 rows of 6 panels each - 12 panels total installed in a portrait orientation) requires 35 clips. When calculating the necessary number of clips need for a solar array:

• Use 2 clips for the short side of every exposed edge of a panel
• Use 3 clips for the long side of every exposed edge of a panel
• Clips are available in packs of 25 clips and washers.
