Self Sticking Insul Hangers are used to fasten insulation material to walls and ceilings. Self-adhesive insulation hangers have a steel base which is backed with a ready to use "Peel & Stick" foam adhesive for quick and easy install onto sheet metal. The base is attached with a sharp pin which pierces the insulation.  A Self Locking Washer is then placed onto the pin to securely hold the insulation in place.  The excess pin length can then be trimmed with Channellock end cutters.

Sold in packs of 100, each box comes with 100 pieces of 1-5/8" Self Sticking Insulation Pins with 100 Self Locking Washers. For jobs that require minimal adhesive hangers, this 100 pack comes with everything an insulator needs for installing board or wrap.

*Self Sticking Insulation Hangers work best on new/clean sheet metal. Perforated Pins should be used on older/painted ducts, or metal building roofs.

*Max Temperature rating for the self sticking adhesive is 120°F.

    100 pins and washers

Worked great as representative said. Only thought is that the nail ends are sharp and when installing insulation in duct you can get some hand scratches which I did. Suggest using gloves or maybe manufacturer can dull up the ends a bit. Sharpness is not really needed to put the tab on top

    100 Pack Pins & washers

My application was attaching fiberglass insulation blankets to my garage door. The adhesive on the back of the insul hangers was not tacky enough to stay stuck to the garage door. The door panels are a type of vinyl material and the insulation is hung vertically. The door is active so is moving several times a day. The garage stays at about 85 degrees so warm. I would not recommend this item for that particular application.

*David, we would recommend perforated base pins with adhesive for this application. I am sorry to hear they did not work for you. ~ BIP

    Most came loose and fell

Most came lost and insulation fell had to redo

*Justin, I am sorry to hear the self-stick pins did not work out for your project. Perforated Pins with Adhesive will probably work better for your application if the self-stick pins didn't work out. ~ BIP
