Alum Cladding

Aluminum Claddings are protective membranes that create a vapor barrier and protect insulation board from UV exposure and weather in exterior applications.  Buy Insulation Products offers three different aluminum cladding membranes for pipe insulation:

• FlexClad 250: A thick 25 mil aluminum cladding material that contains a rubberized asphalt based adhesive FlexClad is considered "self-healing" as any small penetrations are sealed by the asphalt base layer.
• VentureClad 1577 CW:  A thin 5 ply self-adhesive cladding that looks great with its stucco embossed pattern that hides bubbles, wrinkles, and other blemishes.  VentureClad is the most well known cladding product on the market.
• Ideal Seal 777: A thin 6 ply self-adhesive cladding that looks great with its stucco embossed pattern that hides bubbles, wrinkles, and other blemishes.  Ideal Seal 777 is considered an economical variation of the 3M VentureClad.
