PVC threaded rod covers are installed to give a clean and sanitary finish to threaded rod that may otherwise become rusty and create a haven for bacteria. These plastic rod covers are easily cut to length with a scissor and are heat curled to allow a fast and easy snap on install. White colored USDA grade silicone can be used to seal both ends of the cover. Plastic threaded rod covers are designed to fit up to 1/2" threaded rod.
