Owens Corning 703 FRK Fiberglass Acoustic Board 2" (FRK FACED)

Owens Corning 703 FRK Fiberglass Acoustical Board is a 3# density fiberglass board with a FRK facing on one side.  FRK faced Owens Corning 703 fiberglass board can be used in applications requiring thermal insulation (HVAC Ductwork) as well as acoustical sound absorption.  Owens Corning 703 FRK faced fiberglass board is a great acoustical insulation core material for sound panels and bass traps.

For most acoustical applications, such as sound studios, control rooms, and home theaters, a 2" thickness is the best solution. The value in a 2" thick faced fiberglass insulation panel is the lower cost per inch, and better acoustical performance.  2" insulation panels provides a NRC of .75 (Noise Reduction Coefficient) and will effectively absorb lower mid to high range frequencies. This product is sold in boxes of 6 panels. Each panel is 2 ft x 4 ft (2" thick). Each box contains a total of 48 square feet.

*FRK FACED: This is a Foil Reinforced Kraft paper facing on one side of the fiberglass board. (also known as FSK)
